Good news to those who love chatting on WhatsApp. You can now chat on WhatsApp from your computer!
I know many of you are using WhatsApp on daily basis. But when you’re in the office, you are glued to your computer 3/4 of the time and if you’re chatting on your phone, your boss may not like it. So to avoid being scolded for using your phone most of your office hours, you can now use your computer to chat on WhatsApp and also act like you’re doing your work. Cool eh?
There is a catch to chat on WhatsApp via your computer. You only can use Google Chrome. Also, this function isn’t available for iPhone yet. Too bad for iPhone users.
“Today, for the first time, millions of you will have the ability to use WhatsApp on your web browser. Our web client is simply an extension of your phone: the web browser mirrors conversations and messages from your mobile device — this means all of your messages still live on your phone,” WhatsApp stated.
Now to chat from your computer, simply head over to http://web.whatsapp.com and scan the QR code given with your phone. Instructions are given and it’s pretty easy to follow. Once you’re connected, start chatting away.
