Another flagship is about to make its debut. LG has been quiet throughout the big events such as the CES and MWC, only introducing the LG G Flex 2 during the former event. But coming this April 28 launch, LG will be releasing its latest flagship, the long awaited LG G4.
While waiting for the launch date, LG did a little tease by releasing some leak photos of the G4 to get us all excited. Yes, even I am excited about the new G4.
It will feature a beautiful arched leatherback cover which is rumoured that you can customise the colour. But from the leak photos, there are many colour options to choose from. The back cover is slightly curved. But unlike the G Flex, the phone itself is not curved.
The screen display will be the same size as the LG G3 at 5.5″ with IPS Quantum Display at 2560 x 1440 resolution. LG G4 is also confirmed to come with an external MicroSD storage capability and a 3,000mAh removable battery. It may be the last by any of the flagship devices to come with such setup.
It is also confirmed that the camera will come with an f/1.8 aperture camera which will absorb better light in the dark. At 16-megapixel, the camera will put the LG G4 as one of the best camera on a smartphone after the launch.
The camera function comes fully loaded with professional settings displayed on the camera app interface. So to all you manual configuration users out there, this will be a good device to have.
However, there’s no confirmation on the chipset yet. Rumour has it that it uses the new Snapdragon 810 chipset with 3GB of RAM. But it would be great if we can have it at 4GB of RAM.
Now we have to wait for the official launch of the new LG G4 in order to know the full specifications. That will be another 2 weeks from now, more or less. In the meantime, check out more of the leaked photos of the G4 floating all over the internet at the moment. I don’t have a link but you can Google it. It’s everywhere!
