I received the new Samsung Galaxy S10+ for testing and I’m excited. This is the phone that I’ve been waiting for. I have reviewed the Galaxy S10e before this and I think that was a great phone but I reckon that this Galaxy S10+ would be much better. Let’s read on what I think about it at first glance.
My First Impression
The Galaxy S10+ comes in a black box like most of the new Galaxy series phones. When I held the S10+, it doesn’t feel that large. It is exactly the same size as the Galaxy S9+ and perhaps a teeny bit thinner.

At the back, we can see the triple camera setup that contains a normal wide angle camera, one ultra wide angle camera and the third camera is a 52mm equivalent telephoto lens camera. On the front part, I love the punch hole camera module that feels like it’s not there, but it’s there. No notch to intrude my view at all. And there’s two selfie cameras instead of just one. That is really nice. It is pretty much the same lens as the S10e but we shall check on the quality and performance during the full review soon.

The unit that I receive is a Prism Black in colour and I think it looks good. But because it is a smooth back material, it is a fingerprint magnet. If you’re a little bit of an OCD, you may want to carry a tiny cleaning cloth with you all the time.
In the box you can find the usual stuffs like the USB type-C charger, earphone tuned by AKG, some user manuals and a clear hard plastic casing. Since this is a test phone, I shall slap on the plastic casing on, just in case.

You won’t find any fingerprint sensor anywhere on this phone because it is located underneath the front display. The ultra-sonic fingerprint sensor works really fast and you can unlock your phone simply by touching at the bottom front of the display.
More details to come in my full review that is coming very soon. Let’s wait for that.
