Samsung Malaysia Electronics has launched Samsung Care+, a comprehensive coverage plan that offers device repairs to give customers peace of mind when accidents happen to their recently purchased Samsung smartphone or tablet.
Depending on customer’s preferences, Samsung Care+ Malaysia offers two plan options; a 1-year or 2-year plan with prices starting from RM55.00. Customers can enroll for Samsung Care+ at selected Samsung Experience Stores within 14 days of purchasing their device. And given the fast-paced lifestyle of today’s customer’, the plan includes a premium service that offers doorstep pick-up and delivery of the protected device for free.
“When you excitedly unbox your new smartphone or tablet the last thing you want is to damage the device. But accidents can happen, no matter how cautious you are. With Samsung Care+, our customers have a simple, affordable and comprehensive plan from people who know their device inside out,” said President Edward Han of Samsung Malaysia Electronics.
“Whether customers have accidentally damaged, cracked the screen, or spilled a drink on their smartphone or tablet, Samsung Care+ ensures their device will be serviced with genuine parts by an expert technician at our nearest centre. Customers can save big on extensive repairs with the plan’s comprehensive coverage and low deductibles per claim. And we remove the hassle of finding time to head to our centres, instead they can simply contact our dedicated hotline team and arrange for pick-up and delivery from their home or office.”
Samsung Care+ includes coverage for accidental damage, liquid damage and cracked screen repair that are not covered by the basic warranty. Coverage begins upon sign-up, meaning customers can enjoy comprehensive coverage on their device the moment they subscribe to the plan.
When the unthinkable happens, customers should notify Samsung Care+ of any damage occurring to their protected device and make arrangement for free pick-up by calling the hotline at +603 9078 4999, 9.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. from Monday to Sunday, including Public Holidays. Once their device has been repaired and is perfectly working, Samsung will make arrangements to return the device to the customer’s doorstep at no added cost.
