Twitter and Astro Bring Malaysians a Summer Filled With Sports

Astro to feature exclusive video content on Twitter from EURO 2020 and the 2020 Summer Olympics

With Summer 2021 full of monumental sports events including UEFA EURO 2020™ and the 2020 Summer Olympics, Twitter and Astro announced a new partnership to bring video highlights to the platform. Malaysian fans can get the latest updates on everything related to EURO 2020™ or the 2020 Summer Olympics by following @AstroArena and @StadiumAstro.

These updates will include match highlights for all 51 EURO 2020™ matches and livestreams of pre- and post-match studio shows, as well as selected clips of post-match studio shows. Additionally, Malaysian fans will be able to participate in unique #OnlyOnTwitter activities, including media polls involving promo clips, match reactions, and interviews. By following @AstroArena and @StadiumAstro, fans will also be able to participate in Twitter Spaces, a new way to have live audio conversations on Twitter, where they’ll be able to listen to more Astro content about EURO 2020™ to complement their fan experiences.

Astro will produce these clips exclusively for fans to enjoy on Twitter. In addition, Astro will broadcast all 51 UEFA EURO 2020™ matches, as well as 13 channels providing the best coverage for Malaysia’s athletes as they compete for glory in the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics.
