Launched in Malaysia among global countries
Today, realme Malaysia is honoured to announce their collaboration with SEGi College, Subang Jaya as they launched their first-ever realme AIoT Vending Machine. realme Malaysia wishes to provide students within the SEGi campus at Subang Jaya with utmost convenience in acquiring commonly needed realme products without them having to drive a distance to purchase or wait days to receive the selected items.
The realme vending machine contains a diverse range of products including realme Powerbanks, realme Mouse, realme Watch, realme Buds and many other realme products that may be necessary for students.
Wai Kiat Hong, Brand Manager of realme Malaysia said, “The realme AIoT Vending Machine is a brand new venture of realme which serves the purpose of convenience towards the students of SEGi College. The realme devices that we have in the vending machine would serve as a purpose to help the students with their assignments and their studies in this modern digitised era.”
“In April of this year, realme Malaysia and SEGi signed a MoU to formalise our collaboration with the aim of producing industry-relevant graduates in-line with the demands of the profession. As part of this initiative, SEGi College welcomed us to present and provide this convenience to their students and we hope that students would find this vending machine useful. We are also looking forward to the possibility of expanding this venture to more areas in the near future,” he added.
The mechanism of the vending machine makes for a quick and immediate purchase as students would just have to select the item number, make the payment and the item will be instantly dispensed. The machine will be available 24 hours to students of SEGi College where they can purchase their required AIoT devices at any time of the day.
Mr Calvin Chan, Principal of SEGi College Subang Jaya, said today, “We are very pleased to work with realme because its brand DNA resonates with our SEGi rhythm – youth, reality, style, and that added edge of being extraordinary. The traditional model of education where there’s a formal hierarchy between lecturers and students is no longer attractive nor effective enough in today’s day and age. Young minds learn best through formal education in informal settings, and through our collaborations with these stellar brands such as realme, because they project their essence through inspirational real-life ideas and actual innovations. The realme Corner in our campus will be a strong catalyst to further strengthen student-staff-industry relationships.”
realme Malaysia has also collaborated with Shopee in conjunction with the launch as students who spent a minimum of RM20 via ShopeePay on the vending machine will receive RM2 cashback to their ShopeePay bonus wallet. The RM2 cashback will be eligible from 8th December till 31st December 2021.
There will be additional discounts offered via ShopeePay with RM2 off on realme Mobile Game Finger Sleeve and realme Type-C cable from 8th December till 14th December. The ShopeePay promotions are while stocks last items and on a first come first serve basis.
