When it runs out of juice in the middle of its cleaning job, it will head back to the dock to charge up and will head back to the exact spot that it stopped working and continue the cleaning job immediately.

But being able to store and sterilize dust in the large dust bag and keep it running for 60 days is impressive. This is the type of robot vacuum that I would love to have in my house. Period.
App and Key Advantages
Now let’s take a dive into the ROIDMI mobile app. The app will let you assign a working area for the Xiaomi ROIDMI Eve Plus while setting boundaries for rooms or forbidden places around your house. You can also name the areas of your house in the app so that you can know the current cleaning progress.
There are more functions and information that you can monitor on the app. There is information on dust bag condition (full/empty), cleaning path, set vacuum time and schedule, battery percentage, setting cleaning queue, designating an area, setting no-go zones and many more. I have a feeling that I will rely on the app more to set up all of the above and forget about it once everything is set. I mean, that’s the idea here, right?
But you don’t have to keep an eye on the vacuum or the app every time the Xiaomi ROIDMI Eve Plus is doing it’s cleaning job. You’re afraid that it will not be able to avoid obstacles? Don’t be. The Xiaomi ROIDMI Eve Plus is equipped with LDS laser navigation 4.0 for high precision object and obstacle scanning. It will slow down when it detects any obstacles to avoid hard bumps. It can also clear up to 2cm threshold climb over any small obstacles that are laying on the floor.
The Xiaomi ROIDMI Eve Plus has an algorithm to recharge and resume. The robot docks back to the charging base when the battery drops to 15% and resumes cleaning at 80% battery power at the last spot. It also has an algorithm for multi-floor mapping capacity that precisely scans the layout and matches the right map accordingly. The side brushes rotating speed and vacuum mode is set with auto adjustment at high speed alongside the walls or at corners, and lower speed otherwise for an effective cleaning.
As for the suction power, the Xiaomi ROIDMI Eve Plus has a cleaning suction of 2700pa that is powerful enough to suck in any trapped particles in hard to reach places (with the help of the brush) especially around the wall corners. It also comes with a large 250ml smart water tank with precise water control to handle mopping in your house. The mopping function simulates hand mopping movement in a 3-stage Y-route and U-route. So not only will you have a dust-free floor, you will also get a freshly cleaned floor.
