For the fifth consecutive year, Canon Marketing Malaysia (“Canon”) will continue promoting the love for photography in conjunction with National Camera Day. The annual celebration, which falls on 29 June is observed to commemorate the existence of cameras and the benefits to society.
This year, from 27 May to 24 June, Canon invites the public to expand the possibilities of creative expression through the National Camera Day Video Contest. Photography and videography enthusiasts will be able to put their creative and storytelling capabilities to the test by creating short videos of the adventure through their lens.
To take part in this contest, firstly follow @CanonMalaysia on Instagram. Next, upload a 1-minute video captured using your Canon cameras, including a time-lapse. Post the video on the Instagram feed or reels and tag @CanonMalaysia and @ytlhotels together with the #CanonMalaysia, #VideoBetterWithCanon and #CanonMYNCD2022. Finally, make sure your Instagram account is set to public to enable tracking.
Winners stand a chance to win attractive prizes such as a 3D2N stay at Pangkor Laut Resort’s Sea Villa worth RM 4,640, a Canon PowerShot PICK camera worth RM 1,969 and a 2D1N stay at JW Marriott Kuala Lumpur worth RM708.
The public can look forward to a series of expert videography tips to get everyone geared up for the contest.This includes tips from Canon’s product specialist and content creators.
