The rise of interest in health and wellness worldwide is increasing  rapidly due to the worldwide phenomenon of the pandemic. Consumers are currently focused and driven  on staying at home or being able to work out from their living room.  

Last year, Sharp Electronics (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (Sharp Malaysia) launched a slew of products for a better  hybrid working mode and to help Malaysians to adapt to a post-pandemic lifestyle. The post-pandemic  lifestyle has given an awareness towards the consumers to focus more on health, lifestyle and the  environment.

In the current new normal era, consumer demand for clean and hygienic environments is on the rise.  Leveraging its proprietary Plasmacluster Ion (PCI) Technology, Sharp unveiled a new portable air purifier – Mobile Plasmacluster Ion Generator, to ensure consumers’ safety when conducting outdoor activities.  

Sharp believes enough rest and good quality sleep are crucial to the wellbeing of individuals. With its Baby  Sharp Air Purifier, Sharp offers a comfortable and relaxed environment during night-time sleep. With a  warm night light and 3-step filtration system, consumers’ quality of life and rest is enhanced by providing  a 360° purification around the sleep breathing zone. To further improve consumers’ quality of life, Sharp  is also introducing its Aroma Diffuser for better wellness. It consists of 3 levels of lights and an auto-start  function. The mist is produced by an ultrasonic transducer, which is able to generate oscillations that  cause water to turn into tiny droplets, vaporising into fine mist. 

Further than improving the quality of air, Sharp Malaysia heard the consumers’ demand for hygiene and convenience in having clean and purified water. With its 6-stage filtration system, the recent introduction  of the Wall Mountable UV Water Purifier removes impurities and microbes, ensuring consumers with  pure and fresh-tasting water every time.  

Placing the safety of consumers top of mind, Sharp Malaysia is introducing a 100% natural and hygienic  portable sanitiser maker, which its sodium hypochlorite water is able to disinfect and removes 99% of  bacteria and virus in 1-minute. Additionally, to protect the environment while having peace of mind at  the same time, creating an own sparking drink is one of the best options.

Sharp introduced a soda maker, which tailored to create marinating meat, making muffins or cooking rice. It helps clean with sparkling  water, washes dishes with air and water and lets the dirt be taken away with the bubbles. 

Moreover, Sharp is also venturing into a reliable and innovative range of electric scooters by introducing  its advanced E-Scooter to Malaysians. It comes with two different models; both will have a built-in display  and is able to use the application control to navigate.

Served as a measurement of personal eating habits, it is a mastication meter that allows consumers to put on their ear when eating – to measure the number and tempo of chews, along with the  position of the jaw, while chewing. Consumers can check out their resultsin the BiteScan app to help them  easily see the trend in changes to their actions.  

Sharp Corporation redefines the medical product by introducing its award-winning Medical Listening Plug  (MLP), designed for mild-to-moderate hearing disabilities.
