When it comes to robot vacuums, I don’t bother to look anywhere else. The brand that will be permanently embedded in my mind is Roborock. From my test, it cleans up the mop really well after each cleaning cycle. The auto clean function is not only for my living room, but for the robot vacuum itself. So yeah, it can be considered self maintained at this point. I only need to dispose and refill the water tanks once a week.
The additional feature made the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra the best robot vacuum there is. To me, it is super reliable and intelligent. The low maintenance from my part is a bonus. I can just leave it in a corner with the dock and simply “set it and forget it”.

Another feature that I like is the auto object detection. It comes with “Super Intelligent Preci-Sense LiDar Navigation for Obstacle Avoidance” feature that I actually witness every time it cleans. My kids would sometimes walk in-front of the vacuum while it’s cleaning. When it detects an obstacle, it will slow down and avoid them without needing to “bump”.
The Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra comes with ReactiveAI 2.0 that uses a 3D structured light obstacle avoidance system and a Neural Processing Unit to unleash a suite of powerful new capabilities.
