With Chinese New Year just around the corner, vivo is celebrating the occasion with Malaysians by releasing a brand new comedy Chinese New Year short film, which also showcases vivo’s latest flagship smartphone – vivo X90 Series. Titled 注意看,这个新年广告太狠了 (Check it out! This New Year’s advertising is awesome!), the short film takes inspiration from and tributes to some of the Hong Kong classic movies, such as ‘The God of Cookery’ and ‘God of Gamblers’.
The film is filled with heartfelt and humorous moments directed by Malaysian producer, Lim Che Kian, featuring Chai Zi as James Bond / Stephen Chow, Matthew Kuan as the God of Cookery and Dave Chen as the God of Gamblers. Through the short film, vivo hopes to bring joy and laughter to Malaysians while demonstrating the vivo X90 series’ incredible video filming ability this festive season. You can find the film featured on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Youtube.
The main contributor to the high-res video results on the vivo X90 Series is the new ZEISS 1-inch Main Camera. vivo is the first in the smartphone industry to own a ZEISS 1-inch Main Camera in Malaysia. vivo enhances its magnificent photography abilities further by combining vivo’s self-developed V2 chipset and Dimensity 9200 processor.
Every perfect photo needs the ‘perfect calculation’, and equipped with the upgraded V2 chipset, the vivo X90 series is capable of performing more than 19 calculations for photo shooting, elevating the vivo X90 series’ photo shooting features to a higher level. The ZEISS 1-inch Main Camera also greatly improves the image algorithm of the X90 series as it offers users to capture photos with amazing effects even in complex scenes showcased in the film with minimal effort.
The vivo X90 series will be arriving in Malaysia in February with more features and highlights to be unveiled. For more information on the vivo X90 series, please follow vivo Malaysia’s official Facebook Page and official website
