Henrik’s career led him through many highly regarded kitchens, including Conran restaurants, The Ritz Hotel London, Cliveden House Hotel UK, Juan Carlos 1, and several prestigious Hyatt hotels, among others. He spent 12 years working for Hyatt Hotels, 7 years for Rosewood Hotel Group, and 5 years for Conran Restaurants working across multiple locations including Spain, Australia, Vietnam, Malaysia and China before accepting his present role. He joins us from Grand Millennium Beijing Hotel, where he served as General Manager. With his ten years of operational experience in China, along with his thorough understanding of the culture, the market and employee expectations, he has been able to motivate his colleagues to uphold the high standards expected of a luxury hotel in the heart of the city. He will undoubtedly have a significant and positive impact on Niccolo & MAQO Changsha and enhance the hotels’ reputation as the city’s leading hotels in their respective sectors.
Henrik is a Master Instructor for Schwinn indoor cycling, level two Rugby coach and level 2 certified Ski instructor, and he is also a rugby referee in his free time. Expect him to have a clear sense of right and wrong! His other passion is food — cooking, exploring and testing new food trends across the globe.
