Infinix, a fast growing and trendy smartphone brand, is proud to announce its partnership with Moonton and IO Esports for two seasons of the Mobile Legends Bang Bang Academy League Malaysia (MAL MY). The main focus of this partnership is to support the upcoming MAL MY tournament and inspire Malaysian youth to pursue their dreams within the esports industry.  Players will be equipped with high-performance devices, specifically the Infinix GT 10 Pro, to ensure smooth gameplay during the tournament.

“We are extremely honoured with the outcome of this collaboration. This initiative will offer youths a platform to make their dreams come true in being a professional esports player. Through our partnership, we aspire to provide robust support in delivering advanced devices that will propel the esports industry in our country to greater heights,” said Abia Wang, Infinix Regional Marketing Director.

As part of this collaboration, Infinix will showcase its latest GT Series, a smartphone specifically designed to cater to the needs of mobile gaming enthusiasts seeking to enhance their gaming potential. Organised by Moonton and IO Esports, MAL MY represents Malaysia’s professional second-division league, following the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Malaysia (MPL). Within MAL MY, current MPL teams have the opportunity to establish secondary teams, fostering the growth of new players and providing them with a pathway to qualify for upcoming MPL slots and establish themselves as professional teams.

“IO Esports is thrilled to announce MAL MY collaboration with Infinix, marking a significant step towards fostering grassroots talent in esports. Through Infinix’s support, we’re excited to witness the growth of aspiring players as they compete in MAL. Together, we’re empowering the next generation of esports champions.” said IO Esports.

Apart from that, Infinix Malaysia has extended its collaboration with Homebois, a popular Malaysian esports team. This marks the brand’s second year collaborating with the team to continue to inspire Malaysian youths in transforming their passion into professional careers in the esports industry.

“Our partnership with Infinix brings great promise to Malaysia’s gaming community. Their strategic vision and focus in the gaming industry align perfectly with our goals. By aligning with Infinix and their commitment to excellence and innovation, our goal is to champion the Malaysian esports scene, embodying the spirit of our shared slogan, #JuaraBersama,” said Daddyhood, Founder of Homebois.

The esports industry has shown significant growth and success for the past years in Malaysia. The partnership between Infinix, IO Esports, Montoon, and Homebois is a big step forward in the industry and inspires for more growth in Malaysian esports. By joining forces and working together, these organisations are helping esports in Malaysia to thrive even more, creating new chances for success along the way.
