The report, titled “Is Your Data Ready for Generative AI?”, surveyed hundreds of IT and data professionals across industries to assess how businesses are approaching the data challenges behind AI readiness. While many organizations are experimenting with generative AI tools, most are hitting significant roadblocks due to unstructured data, siloed systems, and underdeveloped governance practices.
Among the study’s key findings:
- 78% of respondents say their company is exploring or experimenting with generative AI
- 61% cite data quality or accessibility as a major barrier
- Only 4% say they have complete confidence in their data readiness
- Over half of companies lack standardized processes for data preparation
