LG Malaysia deploys smart life solutions across key visitor areas while 60 employees volunteer in hands-on conservation efforts.
LG Malaysia, as part of LG Electronics’ transformation into a smart life solutions company, has brought its Life’s Good philosophy to one of the nation’s most treasured landmarks – Zoo Negara. Through a strategic donation of premium products and integrated solutions worth over RM 42,000, the company is enhancing key visitor areas while supporting the zoo’s educational and conservation mission.
The thoughtfully curated donation included air purifiers, water purifiers, 65-inch AI TVs, and smart monitors, all strategically placed across high-traffic visitor areas and operations spaces to create cleaner, more comfortable environments while elevating conservation education.
“At LG, we believe Life’s Good extends beyond the home into public spaces where communities learn and connect. By integrating our smart life solution at Zoo Negara, we are helping to create healthier spaces and more engaging experiences that inspire appreciation for Malaysia’s biodiversity,” shared Mr. Justin Choi, Managing Director of LG Electronics Malaysia.
Air purifiers have been installed at Rimba Reptilia, the Giant Panda Conservation Centre, and the Gallery Museum, ensuring cleaner air quality in enclosed viewing spaces where visitors gather. Water purifiers now serve visitors at the Biodiversity Garden, Rimba Reptilia, and outside Surau Al-Hurairah, providing convenient access to clean drinking water while reducing reliance on single-use plastic bottles.
Educational experiences are now more immersive, with LG AI TVs enhancing exhibitions at Rimba Reptilia and the Gallery Museum to deliver richer visual storytelling. Meanwhile, Zoo Negara’s Education Office Department has been equipped with new LG monitors to support the zoo’s conservation programmes and interactive learning initiatives.
YBhg. Dato’ Sr. Zaharin Md Arif, President of the Malaysian Zoological Society said, “These LG technologies directly improve comfort and education across some of our most visited spaces. Visitors will now enjoy a new level of experiential learning while we continue our mission of conserving and celebrating Malaysia’s natural heritage.”

Beyond the product donation, LG Malaysia demonstrated its commitment through direct action by participating in Zoo Negara’s Green Project as part of its team-building corporate social responsibility initiative. 60 of LG’s employees volunteered alongside zookeepers to assist with behavioural enrichment activities, husbandry care, exhibit cleaning and food preparation. This hands-on involvement reflects the company’s belief that meaningful impact comes from both technological innovation and personal engagement in the causes it supports.

“At the end of the day, we believe that Life’s Good when you do good. By supporting Zoo Negara through both our technology and our people, we hope to leave a lasting, positive impact on visitors and the wider community while staying true to our mission of making life better for all,” concluded Mr Justin Choi.
