TORONTO, Oct. 14, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — ASUS today announced the ExpertBook A7, designed to set the new measure for the modern workday through refined aesthetics, effortless agility, and everyday assurance. Its seamless all-metal construction, clean lines, beautiful finish, and precision details create a sophisticated look that feels polished from every angle. With a compact design measuring just 1cm thin and starting at 1.2kg2, ExpertBook A7 moves effortlessly from one workspace to the next, while smooth performance, advanced security, and dependable durability help professionals stay productive wherever work takes them.
The latest addition to the ASUS range of business laptops pairs a precision-milled aluminum chassis with a 3K OLED display and a choice of Intel® Core™ 5 320 or Intel® Core™ 7 350 processors. Both Canadian configurations feature Windows 11 Pro, 16GB of LPDDR5X memory and a 512GB PCIe® 4.0 SSD.
ExpertBook A7 launches in Eclipse Black, with Lunar Silver expected later in 2026. An AMD-powered version is planned for Canada in Q1 2027. To celebrate the launch, the first 100 eligible pre-orders or purchases of the Core 7 model, A7406CMA-P716512-CA, will include a complimentary mouse and portable monitor bundle.1
A refined all metal design
ASUS ExpertBook A7 brings a minimalist design to everyday productivity, with clean lines, balanced proportions and a seamless finish. The Eclipse Black launch models will be joined by the lighter Lunar Silver finish later this year.
Precision CNC milling forms the unibody chassis from a single block of 6000-series aluminum alloy. By reducing visible gaps and potential weak points, the construction supports a slim profile while maintaining the strength needed for everyday use.
Mobility for the modern workday
ExpertBook A7 is designed to stay productive between workspaces. Its 65Wh battery supports up to 26 hours of battery life, while fast-charging technology restores up to 50% capacity in 30 minutes.3
Dual full-function USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C® ports support data transfer, charging and display output. USB Type-A, HDMI® and a 3.5 mm combo audio jack provide convenient connections for displays, accessories and everyday peripherals.
A glass-surface haptic touchpad provides responsive feedback for scrolling and navigation. The hinge balances torque and stability, allowing the laptop to be opened with one hand while helping reduce screen wobble.
A 3K OLED display with a choice of finishes
Both Canadian configurations feature a 14-inch 3K OLED display with a 2880 x 1800 resolution, a 16:10 aspect ratio, a 120Hz refresh rate and 100% DCI-P3 color coverage. A 90% screen-to-body ratio makes the most of the compact design, while Pantone® Validation and VESA DisplayHDR™ True Black 600 certification support accurate color and deep contrast.
The Intel Core 5 configuration features a glossy display, while the Intel Core 7 configuration has an anti-glare display to help reduce reflections.
Together, the high-resolution OLED panel and slim-bezel design complement the sophisticated exterior of ExpertBook A7, extending its premium aesthetic from the chassis to every interaction on screen.
Performance that keeps pace
With a choice of Intel Core 5 320 or Core 7 350 processors, 16GB of onboard LPDDR5X memory and a 512GB M.2 NVMe™ PCIe 4.0 SSD, the two Canadian configurations are built for presentations, multitasking, communication and everyday productivity. Integrated Intel Graphics and the ASUS ExpertCool thermal solution complement the slim design.
The ASUS ExpertCool thermal solution helps maintain steady performance across everyday workloads while supporting the laptop’s slim form. Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth® 5.4 provide wireless connectivity, while a 1080p FHD camera, built-in array microphone and Dolby Audio Premium support video meetings and collaboration.
ASUS MyExpert4 further supports everyday productivity by bringing useful AI features together in one place. Its capabilities include document and image search, summarization, translation, writing assistance, meeting transcription, meeting summaries, and automatic to-do lists, helping professionals find information faster and move more efficiently from discussion to action.
Business security and everyday durability
ASUS ExpertGuardian brings layered security to ExpertBook A7, including NIST SP 800-193-compliant BIOS protection and the Windows 11 Secured-core PC framework. ASUS also provides five years of BIOS and driver security updates to support protection throughout the device lifecycle.
A fingerprint sensor integrated into the power button supports convenient sign-in, while TPM 2.0 helps protect authentication information and encryption keys. A Kensington Nano Security Slot provides an additional option for physical protection in shared environments.
ExpertBook A7 meets MIL-STD-810H testing standards and undergoes ASUS in-house durability testing.5 Its precision-milled aluminum chassis is designed to reduce flex and deformation while maintaining a solid hinge feel.
Built for modern mobility
To celebrate the Canadian launch, the first 100 eligible pre-orders or purchases of ASUS ExpertBook A7 model A7406CMA-P716512-CA (90NX0AS2-M009J0), powered by Intel Core 7 350, will include an ASUS SmartO Mouse MD200 in Secret Black and an ASUS ZenScreen MB169CK portable monitor at no extra cost. The two accessories have a combined regular retail value of C$219.98 before tax.1
The SmartO Mouse MD200 (90XB0790-BMU000), regularly C$69.99, combines Bluetooth and 2.4GHz wireless connectivity with a 4,200-dpi sensor and six programmable buttons. Its compact design makes it a useful companion for moving between a desk, meeting room and home office.
The ZenScreen MB169CK (90LM0AZ3-B011B3), regularly C$149.99, adds a 15.6-inch Full HD IPS display for documents, presentations and multitasking. Dual USB-C ports, mini-HDMI connectivity and a detachable 360° kickstand make it easy to extend a workspace without a full-size desktop monitor.
