Dali Studios marks its first year in business, bringing its childcare photography services to communities across seven states under the leadership of founder and photographer Dalitia Spaulding.
— Dali Studios, a childcare photography studio founded by Dalitia Spaulding, is celebrating its first anniversary as its services expand across Arkansas, Idaho, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Texas. The milestone highlights the studio’s growth during its first year and Spaulding’s 28 years of experience in photography.
Dali Studios specializes in photographing children in childcare settings, providing families with professional portraits that capture important stages of early childhood. Through picture day services, the studio works with childcare centers to create a convenient photography experience for children, families, and staff.
With nearly three decades of photography experience, Spaulding understands the importance of creating a comfortable environment for young children during picture day. Her approach takes into account each child’s personality and comfort level, helping make the photography process a positive experience.
“Every child is different, so I take the time to help them feel comfortable in front of the camera,” Spaulding says. “The goal is to give families professional portraits they can enjoy and look back on as their children grow.”
Dali Studios places an emphasis on creating portraits that families can preserve, display, and share. While digital images offer convenient ways to store and distribute photographs, printed portraits provide families with a tangible keepsake they can enjoy at home and pass down through generations.
“Parents have so many ways to save photos today, but there’s still something special about having a printed portrait of your child,” Spaulding says. “I want children to have photographs that show them that they belong in that space without question of their value.”
Childcare picture days also provide an opportunity to document children at different stages of their development. From changing expressions to distinctive features, each portrait captures details that families may appreciate even more as their children get older.
For Spaulding, this work combines her photography experience with the opportunity to serve families and childcare communities. By bringing professional photography services directly to childcare settings, Dali Studios helps make portrait sessions accessible to families as part of their children’s early learning experience.
Dali Studios now serves childcare communities across seven states, marking a significant milestone in its first year of operation. As the studio celebrates its anniversary, Spaulding remains focused on providing quality childcare photography services and creating portraits that families can treasure for years to come.
