MEMASA Plans Scam and Honeypot Checks Before Every Trade in Its App

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, November 5, 2026 -- MEMASA ($MEMASA), a chat-first AI crypto trading app in development, today outlined plans for a risk score that is designed to accompany every token in the app.

The planned feature will combine insider concentration checks, scam and honeypot detection, and warnings that appear before a user confirms a risky trade.

What the Risk Score Is Designed to Do

MEMASA is building the risk score as a standard part of how users look at any token in the app, rather than as a separate tool. The goal is to give users a clear view of what could go wrong before they commit funds.

The planned checks include:

  • Insider concentration checks that are designed to flag when a large share of a token's supply sits with a small group of wallets
  • Scam detection intended to surface patterns associated with fraudulent tokens
  • Honeypot detection designed to identify tokens that may be bought but not sold
  • Pre-trade warnings that will appear before a user approves an order involving a token flagged as risky

How It Fits Into Trading by Message

MEMASA is designed around chat. A user will be able to type a single instruction, such as "put $50 into this token and sell if it falls 20%," and the app will pick the route, cover gas across chains, and show a preview. The order will only proceed after the user confirms it.

The risk score is planned to sit inside that preview step. If a token shows signs of insider concentration, scam activity, or honeypot behavior, the warning is designed to appear before confirmation, so the user can decide with the relevant information in front of them.

The app's AI copilot is also designed to explain in plain language what a token is doing, why, and what the risks are. Every insight is planned to come with the data behind it, so users can see the basis for a warning rather than relying on a label alone.

Who It Is For

The feature is intended for people who trade on-chain tokens and want a clearer picture of risk without reading contract code or tracing wallets by hand.

It is designed to work alongside the app's self-custodial wallet for Solana and EVM networks, which will open with an email, social login or passkey and allow keys to be exported at any time.

The planned approach keeps the user in control: the app will surface risk signals and warnings, and the decision to proceed remains with the user.
