Watering Seeds Organization Seeks Community Support For Veterans Day Initiatives And Adaptive Sports Programs

Watering Seeds Organization November initiatives include ServeChallenge.org on November 7 and a Veterans Day Preview of Mr. Inspiration: The Bob Wieland Story on November 11.

Humble, Texas, United States, November 6, 2026 -- Watering Seeds Organization (WSO), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit established in 2005, is inviting an observance of National Veterans and Military Families Month, with two upcoming initiatives.

The Serve Challenge, scheduled for November 7, reflects the organization’s guiding message: “We are called to serve God and people.”

On November 11, Veterans Day, WSO will also hold a special screening of Mr. Inspiration: The Bob Wieland Story on Non-Profit TV Network. (Two additional air dates following Veterans Day will be announced). Both projects are being shared as part of its efforts to recognize service and encourage community involvement.

The organization encourages contributions, partnerships, and participation in these community events as part of its ongoing efforts to provide adaptive sports, education, equipment, rehabilitation, and wellness opportunities for wounded warriors and challenged civilians.

Founded by Brady Mazzola, WSO was inspired by a wheelchair tennis exhibition in 2004. The encounter led him to establish an organization dedicated to expanding opportunities for people with disabilities to participate in sports and wellness activities. Since its founding, WSO has developed initiatives intended to empower and equip lives through mind, body, and spirit holistic development and training while encouraging participation and community connection.

The organization’s programs have included military family gatherings, adaptive sports clinics, competitions, exhibitions, entertainment events to boost military morale, and fundraising campaigns. Its adaptive sports activities have included the “Wheelchair Super Bowl” and “Skills on Wheels” programs held across the United States. These initiatives reflect WSO’s continued focus on creating opportunities for individuals whose circumstances may affect access to sports, fitness, and recreation.

"The name 'Watering Seeds' is a spiritual metaphor for seeing beyond self to help others grow. Consequently, you reap what you sow. By 'Watering Seeds' with good deeds, we can all lead a more fulfilled and meaningful life of love and charity, accompanied by an attitude of gratitude and generosity! Ultimately, we can become a catalyst in creating a positive 'change reaction' in the world." says Mazzola.

As the organization marks National Veterans and Military Families Month, it is calling on like-minded individuals and organizations to collaborate for the community, in service for their neighbors, all while honoring those who’ve served for our country!
