- U Mobile is the first telco in Asia to offer a device financing plan called U MicroCredit.
- In conjunction with the iPhone SE launch, U Mobile will be offering a special interest rate of *0.70% for customers who purchase iPhone SE 16GB through U MicroCredit. The normal interest rate is 1.5%. Customers will pay only RM58 per month over a period of 36 months to own the new smartphone. This amount is not inclusive of U Mobile plans.
- No credit card is required for U MicroCredit.
- U Mobile offers contract freedom for all plans; meaning there is no penalty for early termination.
- Customers can also opt to purchase the iPhone SE at a subsidised rate through U Package. U Package consists of an interest free instalment plan as well as monthly rates for data and voice offered by the iPlan, all at one price and this will be over a period of 24 months.
