With Earth Day approaching on 22 April 2021, U Mobile would like to send out a reminder to all Malaysians that they can make good on their used devices by donating them to B40 communities via #MYBaikHati, a device crowdsourcing campaign that is facilitated by the telecommunications industry.

U Mobile is calling on its employees, customers and general public to contribute to a good cause by donating their used laptops, tablets, Chromebooks, and 4G smartphones. The donated devices will then be refurbished and restored to factory settings by U Mobile, before being distributed to B40 families via a partner non-governmental organisation or non-profit organisation.

    Here’s how you can contribute:

    1. Find your used or pre-loved laptops, tablets, Chromebooks and 4G smartphones, and ensure that they come with their corresponding battery chargers. You may even donate a new device if you wish.
    2. Remove SIM cards or memory cards from the devices.
    3. Donate the device(s) at these U Mobile stores:
      • Berjaya Times Square Experience Centre, Level 1
      • AU2 Shopping Centre
      • Bukit Tinggi, Klang
      • Sunway Pyramid
      • 1 Utama Shopping Centre
