Cloud kitchen brand COOX today announced its partnership with Grab, combining the strengths of both entities to support F&B operators that are facing trying times, in light of the current challenging circumstances.
Through this partnership, COOX and Grab are set to encourage F&B operators’ growth potential by leveraging Grab’s wide consumer reach and efficient delivery network. Using technology, operators are given the edge to thrive in spite of business challenges.
Therefore, F&B operators can overcome reduced foot traffic and scale their business with affordable capital cost, so they can expand their reach and thrive in the domestic food delivery market, which is set to grow from US$267m in 2021 to US$410m by 2024.
Closer To Consumers
The partnership combines the strengths of COOX’s high quality and well-integrated kitchen spaces with Grab’s large user base and strong delivery network. This means that F&B operators joining COOX will gain access to Grab’s huge base of connected users, enabling them to effectively bring their offerings to a wider segment of hungry consumers.
“F&B operators on our COOX platform will now instantly enjoy greater consumer traffic, drawing upon the millions of people who use the Grab ecosystem every day,” said COOX co-founder YB Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman.
Multi-faceted Benefits
The partnership also means that F&B operators can look forward to a seamless on-boarding process when getting their offerings listed on Grab, as the well-integrated COOX software platform simplifies and facilitates the entire process on behalf of F&B operators.
With the integration of Grab’s API, orders are centralised in the COOX software platform, so F&B operators can enjoy greater transparency and visibility on their business performance, enabling them to track and monitor their revenue and profitability in real time on a day-to-day basis.
In addition, the partnership provides greater variety in quality F&B offerings for consumers at large, as well as providing opportunities for the operators to be part of future marketing initiatives undertaken by both COOX and Grab.
“With the demand for delivery services growing, as a home grown technology platform, we welcome opportunities to work alongside like-minded industry partners to leverage our capabilities to support businesses. Coupled with some of the enhancements to the consumer experience, we hope this will make it convenient for consumers to order and support their neighbourhood F&B businesses,” said JJ Tan, Head of Commercial and Partnership, Grab Malaysia.
