Do you like shooting videos? Do you create lots of TikTok videos? Or do you simply love creating video contents like vlogging or IRL streaming? Well, your next video capture companion is here (almost).
Now let me tease you a little bit on the upcoming new Honor 50 smartphone. It is said to have a ginormous 108MP wide angle main camera that can produce flawless image and video quality. It is also said that the OLED screen is able to display up to 1 billion colours at 120Hz refresh rate. And finally, it is powered by the new Snapdragon 778G SoC that supports 5G connectivity to give you a super fast connection for your live videos in near future.
Best of all, you can go crazy with the video capture as you will have an ample storage space up to 256GB on the phone and max up to 12GB of RAM to give you a reliable stability when you need it.
Oh, and do you like the colour options? The one that I have with me is called Honor Code. Of course, they have more colour options such as Frost Crystal, Amber Red, Emerald Green and Midnight Black.
I have been using the Honor 50 for a few days now. And one thing I’ve noticed is the liquid smooth experience when scrolling web pages and browsing Instagram timeline. The 120Hz dynamic refresh rate worked superbly, delivering the awesome smooth navigation while swiping through the pages and clocked down to 60Hz (and below) when on standby to save battery.
I simply love the camera. Being able to shoot at 108MP is great. It is not the first with a huge MP count, but it is certainly the one I look forward to. For the photo results, be sure to check out my full review of the upcoming Honor 50.
And thank God for Google Mobile Services! After the ban fiasco by the United States (thanks to Thump), we saw some Honor series that do not have GMS installed. So it is good to note that the new Honor 50 does come with GMS and you will be able to use Google’s services as usual. I honestly felt a little crippled with phones without GMS support. So this is great news for Honor fans.
There are more to expect with the upcoming new Honor 50. More testing and reviewing time for me. While I’m doing that, stay tuned for the official release date which to my understanding, is coming really soon. I will definitely share the release date with you guys here.
