VantrisAI releases a new study analyzing 750 Singapore B2B companies, highlighting how prepared their websites are for AI-driven search and citation, with findings pointing to a significant structural gap.

Singapore, April 28, 2026 — A new study by VantrisAI, a Singapore-based AI Search Visibility consultancy, has found that many B2B businesses in Singapore are not structurally prepared to be cited or recommended by AI-driven search platforms. The report, titled Singapore AI Search Visibility Index 2026, analyzes 750 companies across multiple industries between February and April 2026.

The study evaluates how well company websites are structured for AI systems such as chat-based search engines and answer platforms that generate responses using cited sources. These systems rely on clear content architecture, structured data, and topical authority signals to determine which businesses are included in generated answers.

According to the findings, a large portion of audited websites lack the foundational elements required for AI visibility. Common issues include weak content structure, limited semantic clarity, and insufficient authority signals across key topics. These gaps reduce the likelihood of being surfaced in AI-generated responses, even when companies rank well in traditional search.

The report introduces a benchmarking framework that measures AI search readiness across multiple dimensions, including content structure, entity clarity, citation patterns, and topical depth. Companies were scored based on their ability to be discovered, interpreted, and referenced by AI systems.

The results indicate a widening gap between early adopters who have begun optimizing for AI-driven discovery and those still focused solely on traditional SEO practices. Businesses that align their content with AI citation patterns are more likely to be included in responses, influencing visibility, credibility, and downstream traffic.
