By placing provider and vehicle details upfront, TransferBNB allows travelers to weigh factors such as luggage capacity, child-seat availability, and language before they commit.
The marketplace currently includes close to 100 partner providers – a mix of independent drivers and established transfer companies – across major European destinations, covering airport transfers Europe-wide and dedicated routes to ski resorts. Direct bookings are processed through Stripe, which holds payment until each transfer is completed and then releases funds to the provider. The structure removes cash handling at pickup and protects both sides if a booking is cancelled or modified.
Country coverage currently emphasises Austria, Germany, Switzerland, and other Alpine markets, with growing density in Northern Italy, France, and parts of Eastern Europe. Both independent drivers and transfer companies listed on the marketplace must pass identity, licensing, and vehicle insurance checks before being permitted to submit offers.
Unlike shared European airport shuttle services that pool passengers and stop at multiple drop-off points, every listing on the marketplace is a private, dedicated vehicle. The model has resonated with families and groups, who consistently cite door-to-door service and luggage capacity as the reasons they pre-book rather than rely on taxis or public transit.
Ski resort transfers have emerged as one of the platform’s most-booked categories. Travelers heading to Alpine and Scandinavian resorts choose private transfers over public transportation because of the difficulty of moving boots, skis, and snowboards through multiple train and bus changes. Providers serving these routes typically operate vehicles equipped with ski racks or oversized luggage capacity, which is now visible at the offer stage rather than after payment.
