She has taught EAP, supervised emerging teachers, published, and delivered bilingual workshops on second-language acquisition, assessment, and methodology.
Dr. Pizarro holds an MS in Education and TESOL (NSU), an ACUE credential (2020), a Lean Six Sigma White Belt, and a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership (NSU). A Professor at Broward College and former Curriculum Specialist at American Schools, she founded Elite Language Academy in 2022. Her research centers on teacher learning and identity to improve instruction in multilingual classrooms.
