— Yunji Technology (02670.HK) reported its interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2026. Revenue for the period reached RMB 188 million, up 71.6% year on year. Yet the more revealing story lies not in the speed of this growth, but in its sources.

While much of the embodied AI sector remains in a cash-intensive phase, a clear industry consensus has emerged: Physical AI is the next frontier of artificial intelligence, and the scarcity of high-quality real-world data is the key bottleneck standing in the way of its large-scale application. Yunji is tackling that bottleneck head-on. With tens of thousands of robots running continuously across hotels, hospitals and factories, the company converts every delivery and every interaction into a trainable, monetizable data asset. This model — where operations generate data and data in turn creates value — lends Yunji’s revenue mix a resilience rarely seen among traditional hardware makers, and it underpins three well-defined growth engines.
The first growth engine is the robotic agent platform, which serves as the data producer. Revenue from Robots and Function Kits reached RMB 157 million in the first half, up 93.8% year on year and accounting for 83.6% of total revenue. On an average day, roughly 36,000 robots were online simultaneously; cumulative completed tasks reached 479 million; and each active robot completed 74 tasks per day — increases of 30%, 46% and 13% respectively. With both fleet size and per-robot utilization on the rise, every task fulfilled feeds field-proven data back into the training of Yunji’s World Value Model, steadily compounding the value of each robot in service.
The second growth engine is World Value Model services — the most direct route to monetizing that data. At its core is HDOS, Yunji’s proprietary system and the platform’s central hub: a “digital brain” that transforms robots from single-purpose tools into intelligent agents able to perceive, decide and collaborate. HDOS is fast becoming a core product line. In the first half, Yunji’s AI Digitalization Systems generated RMB 30.76 million in revenue, up 8.3% year on year. Total HDOS subscribers climbed 526% to 3,835, while paying HDOS subscribers jumped 621% to 3,173. The fact that paying subscribers are growing notably faster than the overall subscriber base shows HDOS moving beyond initial trials into broad, everyday adoption. At the same time, the range of environmental events the robots can understand expanded by 130%, and the range of tasks they can perform grew by 570%. Together, these two measures reflect a tangible widening of what the robots can do in real-world settings — advancing from simple deliveries toward “mobility + operation + continuous service” such as laundry assistance, convenience retail and the in-hospital transport of medical supplies.

The fusion of embodied intelligence with this digital brain closes the loop between hardware and data, making the underlying technology highly reusable — and giving rise to a third growth engine built on ecosystem partnerships and overseas expansion.
Revenue from Ecosystem Partners reached RMB 90.5 million in the first half — a surge of 3,302% year on year, representing more than 48% of total revenue — and overtook hotels as the company’s single largest scenario. Yunji entered into a partnership with Shenzhen Zhongyi Group, under which its “UP” composite polymorphic robot “Xiaoma,” fitted with a children’s ride-on cabin, won a thousand-unit order — the world’s first order of this scale for intelligent agents in a parent-child public service setting. Yeniao Technology placed a thousand-unit order of its own for “UP” robots, which will power the scaled production of its X2 fully autonomous door-to-door garbage collection robots. Yeniao made clear that it chose Yunji’s chassis to “avoid reinventing the wheel,” drawing directly on mobility capabilities Yunji has honed over ten million kilometers of real-world operation. Yunji also continued to deploy products for the delivery, material transport and cleaning needs of hospitals, factories and other enterprise customers, closing the loop between real-world deployment and data accumulation across an ever-wider range of settings.
These same capabilities are now being replicated abroad. Overseas revenue reached RMB 5.4 million in the first half, up 638.1% year on year. Eleven representative projects — spanning the UAE, Panama, Thailand and beyond — are steadily coming on stream. In Bangkok, an international hospital serving more than 300,000 patients a year has deployed Yunji robots for in-hospital logistics, as the overseas business progresses from early project validation towards more consistent product delivery.
Even as its real-world data grows, Yunji has not let up on research and development. According to the announcement, first-half R&D expenses reached RMB 71.1 million, up 141% year on year and equivalent to 37.8% of revenue, with investment concentrated in intelligent robot operation, the modular UP platform and the World Value Model.
As Yunji emphasized in its announcement, the scarcity of real-world data is the threshold Physical AI must cross on the road to scaled application. Taken as a whole, the company’s first-half performance traces a clear path of evolution — from single-scenario validation, to replication across multiple scenarios, to a platform-based ecosystem. Whether it is the thousand-unit orders in parent-child and property-management scenarios or the live deployments in hospitals and factories, the conclusion is the same: the market increasingly sees Yunji’s mobility platform as intelligent infrastructure that can be reused across industries — far more than a delivery robot in a hotel.
