From Finding Issues to Fixing Them Faster: RedDoorz Puts AI Behind Guest Experience

JAKARTA, Indonesia, Oct. 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — RedDoorz, Southeast Asia’s largest multi-brand hospitality and accommodation platform, is strengthening quality and guest experience across its hotel network through AI-enabled audits, mystery checks, guest feedback and staff training, as it expands the use of technology to make property standards more consistent and measurable.

At the centre of the approach is Inspecto, RedDoorz’s in-house property audit system introduced in the last year. The platform enables hotel teams to conduct configurable, paperless audits covering room and bathroom cleanliness, facilities and amenities, surrounding areas and staff compliance with service procedures.

Every issue identified during an audit is automatically assigned to the relevant team for follow-up, with AI helping categorise and route cases. An issue can only be closed once corrective action has been completed and verified. RedDoorz combines AI-enabled monitoring with human-led inspections and verification, allowing technology to help teams identify issues faster while keeping operational judgement and follow-up in human hands.

So far in 2026, RedDoorz teams have conducted 4,900 audits across more than 1,500 properties using Inspecto, spanning its multi-brand portfolio including RedDoorz, SANS, UrbanView, The Lavana, Sunerra, and Mitra RedDoorz. The system also supports regular mystery audits at company-operated hotels, assessing staff service, room and bathroom quality, common areas and whether promised amenities are available.

“Quality has to be measurable, actionable and consistent across every stage of the guest journey. AI & broader technology allows us to identify the issues and key quality expenditures, predict their impact on revenue and to make sure that they are resolved with clear ownership and transparency.” said Nitin Vyas, SVP Product & Data, RedDoorz.

The approach has supported improvements across RedDoorz’s company-operated portfolio, which currently maintains an average guest rating of 9.2 out of 10. RedDoorz attributes the improvement to property renovations, upgraded amenities, stronger safety and operational standards, and greater use of data and AI to identify quality improvements that can enhance guest experience and operational performance.

Guest reviews are also integrated into RedPilot, RedDoorz’s in-house AI copilot for hotel managers. Reviews and audit findings can be converted into operational alerts and staff tickets, allowing recurring feedback on cleanliness, room condition, check-in, service and facilities to inform broader property improvements rather than being treated as isolated complaints.

Beyond technology, RedDoorz continues to strengthen service standards through mandatory training for property partners. Since 2016, more than 40,000 hotel staff have been trained in hospitality operations and service standards, while an enhanced staff-upgrade programme launched at the end of 2025 has trained more than 250 staff to date.

RedDoorz also backs its promise through Assured Stay, an optional add-on that allows guests to claim a refund equivalent to 50% of their stay price if promised amenities are missing or the room differs from what was shown at booking. Claims are made on fewer than 2% of Assured Stay bookings, with corrective action initiated at the property once a claim is validated.

“At RedDoorz, we believe technology should do more than make hospitality operations more efficient, it should help us deliver a more reliable and consistent experience for every guest. By combining AI with human oversight, actionable guest feedback and stronger service standards, we are building a system that helps our property partners identify gaps, address issues faster and continuously improve quality.” said Amit Saberwal, Founder & CEO RedDoorz.
