New upcoming Instagram update will enable you to attach up to 10 photos and videos in a single post.
Sometime earlier this month, Instagram has been testing out the ability to post multiple photos and videos in a single post. But there were tons of bugs and was very unstable. But after long hours and sleepless nights, those guys in Instagram managed to put everything in order to bring us their brand new feature.
Now you can post a combination of up to 10 photos and videos in a single post on your Instagram feed. You don’t need to post one photo or video at a time anymore, that if you have lots of photos to share.
You can easily tell whether the post contains multiple photos just by looking out for a blue dot indicating that it is a gallery post. And if you do have multiple photos to post, the new update will give you an option to select up to 10 photos and videos after which you can rearrange the content in a sequence that you wish. You can also edit each photos individually once you’ve selected the photos.
Now in my opinion, I usually would prefer to have my photos posted one at a time…like how it is now. I see Instagram as a place for me to share selected or somewhat important photos with the masses. I would leave sharing multiple photos or gallery type of photos in Facebook instead. Each photos that I posted in Instagram have a special meaning to it. So, to be able to post multiple photos is something I might not use as much.
Nevertheless I am sure that some people would appreciate the new feature because I do see some people who would post one photo after another continuously and up to 10 photos within a short time frame. This feature will suit those people, I guess.
And I know some of you would love to edit some of your photos before posting them on Instagram. There many useful photo editors out there and some of them are totally free to use. If you like to edit your photos, you can check out some free image editors to enhance your photos and to stand out from the crowd.
So what do you think of the new Instagram feature? Leave a comment to share your opinion. Meanwhile, be sure to keep a lookout for the update in Android and iOS within the next few days.
