Samsung Galaxy Note10 has finally landed in Malaysia after its official launch last week, giving Malaysians the perfect power tool to work the way they want while allowing them to flow seamlessly between their professions and passions.
To celebrate its arrival, Samsung Malaysia Electronics is sustaining the excitement with Samsung nationwide roadshows over the weekend, offering fantastic and exclusive rewards when a consumer brings home a new Galaxy Note10 or Galaxy Note10+! The Samsung nationwide roadshows run concurrently across five locations from 23rd to 25th August in Mid Valley Megamall in Kuala Lumpur, East Cost Mall in Kuantan, Mid Valley Southkey in Johor Bahru, Queensbay Mall in Penang and lastly IMAGO Shopping Mall in Kota Kinabalu.
The excitement Malaysians have for the latest Galaxy Note10 was evident as there was already a long line of Note fans formed and waiting patiently for the opportunity to be one of the first to own Samsung’s latest device, even hours before the doors were officially opened. The proud owners of the new Galaxy Note10 & Note10+ also brought home complimentary gifts such as the Galaxy Fit, Galaxy Watch Active and Battery Pack worth up to RM1,248.
Sisters Amuthameena and Arishankery Manoharan were first in line at KL’s Mid Valley Megamall roadshow, starting a makeshift queue at 2am in anticipation of the crowd. Doctors at Hospital Pekan Kuantan and Hospital Kemaman Terengganu, the dedicated duo drove to KL for the weekend roadshow the night before to get their hands on two units of the new Galaxy Note10+.
“We have been Note fans since the Galaxy Note2 and between the two us, we have tried every iteration of the Note series and we can definitely see and feel the improvements with each upgrade. The S Pen and long-lasting battery in particular has been incredibly helpful especially in our field of work and has been a life saver in more than one occasion! The Galaxy Note10+ we bought today will be an upgrade for my sister Amu who is currently using the Galaxy Note5 and the other Galaxy Note10+ will be for my uncle. My whole family have been and will continue to be Samsung fans because the innovations in Samsung devices ahead of others,” said the 30-year-old medical practitioner Arishankery Manoharan.
Also in the queue was Shinji See, a 33-year-old businessman and loyal Samsung user. “As a phone shop owner, I am exposed to the latest in mobile innovation and I must say that Samsung offers the whole package. In the eight consecutive years of using Samsung devices, I have tried both the Galaxy S series and Note series – I have never been more than happy with the performance of both series. The Note series will have always a place in my heart because of its one and only S Pen and the convenience it brings to my work. I also rely heavily on my phone for entertainment and this makes the Galaxy Note10+ the best phone for me – because the Infinity Display’s quality and high resolution make the viewing experience absolutely fantastic for streamers like me! I bought two Galaxy Note10s during the pre-order period and now I am getting two units of the Galaxy Note10+.”
Best friends Eric Capel and Zulfadhli’s stories are a little different from the other Note loyalists that were in line. Eric, a 29-year-old transport engineer, and Zulfadhli, a 27-year-old finance accountant, are iPhone users that have decided to make a switch to experience the Galaxy Note.
“We’ve been following updates of the Note series for a while now because we have been contemplating of making that switch and we realized that the innovations and value in the Note exceed that of the phones we are currently using. What stood out for me most about the Galaxy Note10 is the overall hardware, mainly the battery and performance, as well as Samsung DeX and being able to move work around from phone to PC. I find the Galaxy ecosystem quite intriguing too and I am waiting for the Galaxy Watch Active2 to come to Malaysia so I can pair it with my new Galaxy Note10+,” said Penang-born Eric.
For Zulfadhli who hails from Miri, it was the camera and gaming capabilities of the phone that drew his attention to the Note series. “I like to game, PUBG specifically, so when I read that the Note10+ is optimized for gaming, I was nearly sold. The gaming experience I have with my current phone isn’t ideal because the battery gets too hot and I need to carry around a power bank but I am confident that my new Galaxy Note10+ will serve me better. The other thing that sold me is the camera quality and features. After much comparison, for me Samsung has the best camera quality (even in Night Mode) and we are able to do so much more customization to our photos and videos thanks to the S Pen.”
To top off the Samsung nationwide roadshows excitement, several interactive activities with tech media were awaiting Note fans at the Kuala Lumpur roadshow. Fans visiting the KL roadshow over the weekend will get a meet-and-greet opportunity with local influencers Jenn Chia, Marianne Tan, Jazel Lim and Brandon Ho who is scheduled to welcome the new Galaxy Note10.
