— The 19th Beijing International Automotive Exhibition kicked off. With the theme “Intelligence for All Mobility,” ZYT held a press conference to officially launch the first Multimodal Foundation Model designed for Mobile Physical AI.
Multimodal Foundation Model: One Model for All Domains
In the past, intelligence was a feature of a car; now, ZYT defines intelligence as a universal capability for the physical world. The technical core of the newly released Multimodal Foundation Model involves pre-training on the general laws of the physical world at the most fundamental level, enabling a unified representation of video, text, action, voice, and map information.
During the training phase, the model incorporates not only intelligent driving data but also internet data and various types of mobile robotics data. All ego-centric data is used for pre-training, injecting cross-domain and cross-national knowledge into the system. Consequently, when the model is applied to different verticals or regions, it can function and adapt effectively through simple activation.The core objective of this model is to achieve zero-shot knowledge transfer, truly enabling out-of-the-box use across verticals, zero generalization (or extremely low generalization) globally, and universal application across all scenarios—whether on paved or unpaved roads, indoors or outdoors. Crucially, all mobile carriers—passenger vehicles, commercial heavy trucks, autonomous logistics vehicles, Robotaxis, and embodied robotics—will share the same understanding, judgment, decision-making, and cognition of the physical world.
The concept of “one model for all domains” is no longer just a slogan. There is no need to remodel every vehicle, application, or country; the model can be rapidly migrated to various mobile carriers. Within 2026, it will first be deployed in passenger vehicles and commercial heavy truck products, serving as the core foundation model for ZYT’s intelligent driving expansion into overseas markets.
From Mass Production to Full Scenarios: The Mobile Intelligence Foundation is More Than a Concept
At the end of 2025, ZYT proposed the forward-looking concept of the “Mobile Intelligence Foundation” and has since accelerated its implementation through mature mass-production capabilities. Currently, the number of mass-produced models exceeds 50, with designated models reaching triple digits. Regarding commercial vehicles, ZYT has achieved 100% coverage of China’s Top 6 brands, taking the lead in completing layouts within the commercial heavy truck sector.
The expansion into new scenarios is even more striking. For the first time, ZYT announced its bus business: a partnership with Yutong Bus, a leader in the bus market, to jointly develop NOA intelligent driving solutions for commercial buses. Models equipped with this solution will begin mass production and delivery in September this year. ZYT is also collaborating with top ecosystem partners to promote the R&D and commercialization of L4 autonomous driving technology, with Robotaxi services scheduled to begin trial operations in the second half of this year. Additionally, a new autonomous logistics vehicle was unveiled at the conference; ZYT has teamed up with industry-leading operators and OEMs to build a full-link urban distribution solution, with trial operations expected to start as early as July.
To date, ZYT has partnered with 34 core customers, with collaborative models exceeding 130. ZYT is one of the few companies in the smart mobility sector capable of cross-vertical, large-scale delivery. Mass-producible, reusable, and evolvable—the “Mobile Intelligence Foundation” is no longer just a vision.
Going Global, Building an Open Ecosystem for Mobile Physical AI
ZYT’s global plans are steadily materializing. Within 2026, ZYT’s Multimodal Foundation Model will be launched globally as the core foundation model for intelligent driving overseas expansion.
ZYT does not pursue a closed ecosystem. It insists on open empowerment, building trust, and collaborative development with upstream and downstream partners. ZYT CEO Shen Shaojie once observed: “Intelligent driving is only the initial form of physical AI, by no means the final destination. Joining Hands with FAW to Define a New Paradigm for Scaled Deployment of Intelligent Driving
Another highlight of this press conference is the deep strategic cooperation between ZYT and FAW. The HONGQI Sinan Smart Driving system, jointly developed by HONGQI and ZYT, has already been mass-produced in models such as the HONGQI HS6, TianGong 05, and TianGong 06. In the first half of the year, ZYT’s High-Perception End-to-End 4.0 model will be rolled out via OTA updates; the HONGQI off-road vehicle launching in the second half of the year will be equipped with ZYT’s high-performance LiDAR. The HONGQI TianGong S concept car unveiled at this auto show adopts an entirely new architecture based on ZYT’s Multimodal Foundation Model, carrying a advanced intelligent driving solution. In the commercial vehicle sector, heavy truck highway NOA products such as the FAW Trucks J7 Tractor, FAW Yingtu Tractor, and FAW J6 Tractor, built on the ZYT JIMU 2.0 system and High-Perception End-to-End 4.0 model, will be launched in the second half of this year. The two parties will continue to jointly develop multiple products to help reduce costs and improve efficiency in logistics.
More importantly, in the future, ZYT will continue to insist on open empowerment, joining hands with global partners to bring trustworthy Mobile Physical AI to every vehicle, every form of mobility, and every person.
When intelligence is no longer the exclusive feature of a specific type of vehicle, but becomes a universal capability shared by all mobile entities, the underlying logic of the mobility industry is being rewritten.
