— Praxel Ventures Private Limited has launched Praxy, an AI career coach that works entirely inside WhatsApp. Users start by sending “hi”, then share a résumé, a LinkedIn profile or a link to a job posting. From there they can message Praxy or take a voice call to practise interviews, get résumé feedback, compare roles, prepare for a salary negotiation, or plan a next career move. There is no separate app to install.
Praxy keeps the context of earlier conversations, so a user preparing for several interviews does not have to explain their background each time. In a voice mock interview, Praxy plays the interviewer, asks follow-up questions, and then gives a short debrief on which answers worked and where the user rushed or stayed vague.
The company has also launched Praxy Jobs, a job search that went live on 20 August 2026. It covers more than three million listings gathered from 100,000 companies, with new roles added through the day. Listings link directly to the original source rather than routing applicants through an intermediary page, and users can browse by role, country, company or remote status. Job matches are delivered daily inside the same WhatsApp conversation.
“Most career advice is either expensive or generic, and most people already spend their day in WhatsApp,” said Pushpak Teja, co-founder of Praxy. “We wanted coaching that starts from your actual résumé and the actual job you are looking at, and that you can talk to out loud the night before an interview.”
“A job search is mostly small decisions made alone: which roles to apply for, what to say in the room, what number to ask for,” said Ashwin Prasad, co-founder of Praxy. “Praxy is built to be there for those moments, and it is free to use.”
Praxy is free. There is no plan to choose and no card required, and everyday use carries fair limits that a normal job search fits inside. The company says it expects to offer a paid tier later for people who need far more usage, and that the core will stay free.
