Visits Optimize Integration Group’s Overseas Global headquarters: A New Silk Road Story of a Top 500 Chinese Enterprise

— On August 25, the closing ceremony for the large-scale transnational all-media event “2026 Thousands of Miles Along the Silk Road · The Path of Illumination” was held in Singapore. The expedition team set out from Shaanxi, China, on July 24, and over 33 days travelled through 16 cities across 7 Chinese provinces before continuing on to Thailand and Malaysia and finally arriving in Singapore, completing the ASEAN leg of the route. Two days before the finale, the team visited a Chinese enterprise in Singapore — the overseas global headquarters of Optimize Integration Group.

Visits Optimize Integration Group's Overseas Global headquarters: A New Silk Road Story of a Top 500 Chinese Enterprise

Optimize Integration Group has led China’s imported frozen food sector for 12 consecutive years, with annual revenue of RMB 85.2 billion and a ranking of 383rd among China’s Top 500 Enterprises. From Malaysian black thorn durian to New Zealand lamb, Norwegian salmon, and grass-fed beef from Brazil and Argentina, the Group sits behind a large share of the premium temperature-controlled agricultural products entering the Chinese market.

From “Medicines, Porcelain, Silk, and Tea” to “Global Ingredients”: A Contemporary Expression of Silk Road Trade

A thousand years ago, caravans carried medicines, porcelain, silk, and tea along the ancient Silk Road, forging a bond of trade between East and West. Today the same logic is playing out in a different form. Optimize Integration Group established its overseas global headquarters in Singapore in 2020 and has since built a deep presence across RCEP member markets, with annual meat import volume accounting for 15% to 20% of China’s total imports. Its global ingredients supply chain is built around efficiency and quality, using digital tools to connect sourcing and consumption across markets.

The Group’s Malaysian durian programme illustrates the point: under its temperature-controlled network, the journey from orchard to a consumer in China takes no more than five days. Underpinning this is a supply chain capability honed over 17 years, with operations spanning six continents and partnerships with 15,000 upstream factories worldwide.

Members of the expedition team used three words to describe their visit: awe, pride, and inspiration — awe at the scale of Chinese enterprises overseas, pride in the influence of Chinese companies under the RCEP framework, and inspiration drawn from 17 years of steadfast development.

From Chang’an to Southeast Asia, from the millennia-old Silk Road to modern food supply chains, Optimize Integration Group uses a global network to deliver the world’s finest ingredients to Chinese tables while sharing China’s market opportunities with the world — a vivid illustration of Silk Road trade in a new era.
