September 8th marked the dazzling shine of the “Golden Key,” officially ushering Xiamen into the “9·8 season.”
— On the morning of September 8, the 26th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) commenced in Xiamen. This year, for the first time, CIFIT is held at the Xiamen International Expo Center, with the permanent theme of “Further Expanding Bilateral Investment, Jointly Facilitating Global Development”. Centered on three major sections—”Investing in China,” “China’s Investment,” and “International Investment”—the event features a 200,000-square-meter exhibition and negotiation area and 14 professional exhibition zones. It will also host 46 themed events and 52 project roadshows, aiming to create a global investment event characterized by openness and cooperation.
New and old friends from all corners of the world
gathered once again in Xiamen
to discuss cooperation and seek common development.
This year’s CIFIT has attracted delegations from more than 1,200 government agencies and business groups across 129 countries and regions, along with representatives from 30 international organizations. The event offers a broader international circle, a more focused professional lineup, and significantly improved digital and intelligent capabilities.

Two Guest Countries of Honor, One Appointment in Xiamen
Saudi Arabia
The 475-square-meter Saudi pavilion will comprehensively showcase Saudi Arabia’s investment ecosystem, guiding visitors through the full-cycle investment journey of investors. At CIFIT, Saudi Arabia will focus on highlighting multiple priority investment opportunities across advanced manufacturing, energy, petrochemicals and downstream processing, mining and metals, information and communications technology (ICT) and digital infrastructure, as well as capital markets and fintech.
Finland
At this year’s CIFIT, Finland will bring a lineup of high-quality enterprises and cutting-edge technologies in areas such as circular economy, intelligent manufacturing, and health and wellness. Covering approximately 300 square meters, the Finland pavilion will be themed “Finland, a land where pristine nature meets cutting-edge innovation.” It will host a range of events including Finland economic and trade cooperation and exchange activities and the China (Fujian)-Finland economic and trade exchange conference. Participating companies span fields such as digital connectivity, sustainable urban development, clean energy, advanced manufacturing, bioeconomy, and architecture.
Two Guest Provinces of Honor, One Spotlight on Egret Island (Xiamen)
Qinghai
Qinghai is the first pilot province in China for green computing power and electricity integration, with abundant clean energy resources such as solar, wind, and hydropower. During CIFIT, Qinghai Province will set up a 720-square-meter pavilion to highlight investment and cooperation opportunities in areas including green resources, digital computing power, and salt lake new materials. It will also host economic and trade exchange activities, including a key industries investment promotion event for Qinghai.
Guangdong
Guangdong and Fujian share geographical proximity and cultural ties, both being pioneering provinces in reform and opening-up. They not only possess common advantages in openness but also exhibit strong industrial complementarity. At this year’s CIFIT, Guangdong will organize delegations from 21 cities and key enterprises, and set up a 720-square-meter themed exhibition pavilion. The pavilion will present representative technologies and products in frontier fields such as artificial intelligence and the marine economy. It will also host events including Guangdong-Finland economic and trade cooperation and exchange activities, a briefing on investing in Guangdong, and city-specific investment promotion activities.
